Daoist meditation and cultivation is about (1) cultivating the Dao - not the self and (2) is about moral cultivation.
Cultivating the Dao means working towards liberation for all through maintaining the transmitted lineage and exemplifying it and its compassion in the world. Daoist cultivation of the self involves working on oneself through first cultivating the stillness and clarity and then carefully examining one's behavior in the world.
Daoist cultivation is decidedly somatic - Daoist "dual cultivation" means cultivation both one's "mind" or "soul" or "spirit" AND cultivating one's physical body and circumstantial trajectory in the world (intersectional identity, privileges, karma, social debt, community, etc.).
This means that I am working with, on a daily basis, tools for self-examination, somatic integration, and for stilling and clarifying the mind. I think it is very likely that you will find some of these tools help.
As noted above, however, I do not teach Daoism. I can share certain practices, some of which are Daoist and others that I have found helpful, but I am not accepting students.
Be better.
